Concealed Carry In Arkansas - New Arkansas Law
No License Needed to Conceal Carry
ACT 777 (SB480) allows Arkansans to carry a concealed handgun in many locations without a license. The license still affords some reduction in the places prohibited to someone who is carrying a firearm, and it affords Arkansans the ability to carry on certain other states that require a license from any state to carry a firearm.
Qualifying Patients for Medical Marijuana
ACT 757 (HB1784) provides that a person shall not be prohibited from obtaining a license to carry a concealed handgun because the person is a qualifying patient under the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment of 2016.
